Almost, Maine - 2016Nordonia Drama made a shift from it's fall play format of dinner theatre murder mysteries when it presented it's minimalist staging of John Cariani's Almost, Maine, a beloved romantic comedy set in a fictional town.
Almost, Maine was presented October 28-30, 2016. Almost, Maine was directed by Chris Simmons. Nordonia Drama seniors Hannah Beck and Sam Fujikawa served as Assistant Directors, each directing two of the stories. On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways.
